Jonathan has worked in the City for over fifteen years. His experience during spells at Townsley & Co, Teather & Greenwood and Credo Capital now covers all aspects of Wealth Management, including derivatives and tax efficient structures, as well as standard portfolio management. His interest in Smaller Cap businesses has developed over time and the cross-fertilisation between them and the High Net Worth Individuals that run them produces a variety of disciplines. The initial deal he introduced to Merchant Capital was Island Gas which reversed into a shell KP Renewables. Island Gas is the first UK coal bed methane gas producer to supply the Grid.
Prior to the City Jonathan spent 10 yrs in the food industry, most notably as a partner at Leathams Larder, now known as Merchant Gourmet. Educated at the University of Sussex, he has a BA(Hons) in History and is fluent in French.
